If you don't want it, don't buy it - simple. Nobody is making anybody buy anything, they are just offering a different system. I found the Diablo heavy Metal blade lasts a long long time.Īlso be careful of some Bosch multitools, some have something called starfit or similar, some of them will only work with starfit blades (ie Bosch starfit blade only) some will work with regular blades, this is something unique to Bosch, and is something that really pees me off when a manufacturer feels it's ok to change the standard that everyone uses so it locks yo uinto purchasing their own overpriced consumables. The powergit or whatever brand from Bunnings is rubbish and they don't fit some tools properly, look online such as ebay for brand name blades directly from USA or UK, don t bother with the cheapie no names things they blunt very quickly and a re a waste of time. I don't understand why multi tool blades are soooo expensive here (well I do because we get ripped off so much with these things in AUS). Diablo are not a cheap blade such as the craft right ones you mentioned, Diablo are owned by Bosch and are made in Swizzyland, a set of Diablo blades will cost you more than the multi tool did !!! Are the ebay ones acceptable? Thanks, I'm new to all this stuff and need all the advice I can get. Is it worth buying the expensive bosch blades or will the cheaper craftright/diablo blades suffice for light household work. It only came with one blade (straight edge 34mm) and the 93mm sanding shoe. I have just gone and bought myself my first multi tool (green bosch) for $92.
